It's the MIDDLE of the week...a tough time for a lot of people. But hey, we know the expression: WORK HARD, PLAY HARD, right? I believe in that. When I work--boom, I work. I focus. I get stuff done. And when work is finished--I COMPLETELY do NOT work! I do MY thing! That is my definition of "work hard, play hard". Today's expression is perfect for when you "work hard"! Happy Independence Day, USA!!! It's the USA's birthday! I'm very proud--my family took part in the Revolutionary War that began 241 years ago! Today we celebrate with delicious food and fireworks!! But...why not study a little English, too?! Today I have three expressions that mean the same thing--one of them is "really American" and one of them is "really proper"!
